TPO Commercial
Roofing
TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) is the most widely specified flat roofing membrane for commercial buildings — and the right choice for the wet, high-rainfall conditions of the Pacific Northwest.
Unlike traditional built-up or modified bitumen systems, TPO is a single-ply membrane that is heat-welded into a continuous, seamless waterproofing barrier. There are no laps relying on adhesive, no exposed seams prone to failure, and no layers of aggregate that trap moisture and add unnecessary weight to the structure. The result is a clean, durable, low-maintenance roofing system engineered for long-term commercial performance.
Covertrust installs TPO systems using certified heat-welding equipment. Every seam is mechanically welded and tested for integrity before the project is signed off. We do not cut corners on seam quality; it is the single most critical factor in the longevity of any flat roofing system.

Pacific Northwest
Commercial roofs in the Puget Sound region face a demanding environment: sustained rainfall, temperature cycling, moss and algae growth, and wind events that test every seam and edge detail. TPO performs reliably in all of these conditions. Its reflective white surface also reduces solar heat gain, which can meaningfully lower cooling costs for commercial buildings during summer months.
Covertrust works with building owners, property managers and facilities teams to ensure minimal disruption during installation. We provide clear project timelines, transparent scoping and direct communication throughout — because downtime and uncertainty are costs no business wants.
Engineered for continuous wet-weather performance
Flexible membrane handles freeze-thaw movement
Smooth TPO surface inhibits biological growth
Mechanically fastened to withstand PNW wind events

Warranty Transparency
Clarity Over
Confusion.
At Covertrust Roofing Solutions, we believe property owners deserve clarity, not confusion. Most roofing companies do not explain how warranties really work — and some even mislead clients.
Material Ratings vs. Warranty
When distributors reference 20-year, 30-year, 40-year, or 50-year shingles, these numbers describe the grade, thickness, durability, and expected lifespan — not the warranty. Many roofers blur the line between lifespan and warranty on purpose.
How long shingles may last under normal weather conditions.
A manufacturer’s promise to cover defects, not wear and tear.
How Warranties Actually Work
Most manufacturers cover defective materials for the first 10 years (non-prorated), covering both material and labor. After 10 years, warranties become prorated — dropping more than 2% per year. The longer you own the roof, the less the warranty is worth.
Some manufacturers offer extended non-prorated warranties (40–50 years) but only to contractors who meet strict installation standards, use full roofing systems, and maintain manufacturer certifications.
The Covertrust Advantage
Because Covertrust Roofing Solutions follows strict manufacturer requirements, our clients may qualify for enhanced, longer warranties that many contractors can’t offer. We install every roof to specification, use proper accessories, and ensure ventilation and flashing meet all standards. If a contractor cuts corners, the warranty becomes void — a fact many roofers never mention.
