Roof Replacement Services
King, Pierce & Snohomish County
When repair is no longer the right answer, a full roof replacement is one of the most significant investments a property owner will make. Covertrust Roofing Solutions manages the complete replacement process — from initial inspection and system recommendation through to final installation and warranty documentation — for residential and commercial properties across the Puget Sound region. Every replacement begins with a physical roof walk, and every installation is completed to the manufacturer’s full specification.

How We Approach
Roof Replacement
A roof replacement is not simply a material swap. The performance and longevity of any new roofing system depend on what happens beneath the surface: the condition of the decking, the quality of the underlayment, the integrity of the flashings and the correctness of the ventilation. Cutting corners on any of these elements compromises the entire system, often voiding the manufacturer’s warranty in the process.
Covertrust replaces every roof as a complete system. Decking is inspected and repaired where necessary. Underlayment, ice-and-water shield, drip edge, step flashings and ridge ventilation are all installed to specification before the outer roofing material is applied. The result is a roof that performs as the manufacturer intended — and a warranty that reflects it.
Every layer from decking to ridge cap is installed to specification.
Full-spec installation preserves warranty eligibility.
We recommend replacement only when repair won't suffice.

Our Systems
Roofing Systems
We Install
Architectural Shingle Roofing
The most specified system for PNW homes. Covertrust installs premium shingle systems from CertainTeed, Owens Corning, Malarkey and GAF — selected for wind resistance, moisture management, and long-term durability. Full-spec installation with approved accessories may qualify clients for enhanced non-prorated warranty coverage.
Metal Roofing
The premium choice for maximum longevity. A correctly installed metal roof performs for 40 to 70 years — shedding rain and moss naturally, carrying a Class A fire rating and requiring minimal maintenance. Covertrust advises on panel profiles, coatings and fastening systems based on your structure, pitch and budget.
TPO Flat & Low-Slope Roofing
Flat and low-slope sections require a dedicated waterproofing system — not shingles. TPO is a single-ply membrane heat-welded into a continuous, seamless barrier. We install TPO using certified heat-welding equipment, with every seam tested for integrity. Suitable for commercial buildings and residential flat or low-slope sections including additions, garages and covered decks.

When to Replace
Signs Your Roof
Needs Replacing
Not every roof problem calls for a full replacement, but some do. A Covertrust inspection will give you an honest assessment. Common indicators that replacement is the right course of action include:
Shingles that are curling, cupping or losing granules across a significant portion of the roof
Multiple active leaks or recurring leaks following previous repairs
Visible sagging or structural movement in the roof deck
A roof approaching or beyond its expected service life
Storm or impact damage affecting a large area of the roof surface
Moss or algae damage that has compromised the shingle layer beneath

Warranty Transparency
Clarity Over
Confusion.
At Covertrust Roofing Solutions, we believe property owners deserve clarity, not confusion. Most roofing companies do not explain how warranties really work — and some even mislead clients.
Material Ratings vs. Warranty
When distributors reference 20-year, 30-year, 40-year, or 50-year shingles, these numbers describe the grade, thickness, durability, and expected lifespan — not the warranty. Many roofers blur the line between lifespan and warranty on purpose.
How long shingles may last under normal weather conditions.
A manufacturer’s promise to cover defects, not wear and tear.
How Warranties Actually Work
Most manufacturers cover defective materials for the first 10 years (non-prorated), covering both material and labor. After 10 years, warranties become prorated — dropping more than 2% per year. The longer you own the roof, the less the warranty is worth.
Some manufacturers offer extended non-prorated warranties (40–50 years) but only to contractors who meet strict installation standards, use full roofing systems, and maintain manufacturer certifications.
The Covertrust Advantage
Because Covertrust Roofing Solutions follows strict manufacturer requirements, our clients may qualify for enhanced, longer warranties that many contractors can’t offer. We install every roof to specification, use proper accessories, and ensure ventilation and flashing meet all standards. If a contractor cuts corners, the warranty becomes void — a fact many roofers never mention.
