King, Pierce & Snohomish County
Covertrust Roofing Solutions provides residential roof replacements and new installations for homeowners across the Puget Sound region. We install three roofing systems — architectural shingle, metal and TPO — each selected for its performance in the Pacific Northwest climate. Every project begins with a physical roof walk by an experienced roofer. No drones, no driveway assessments, no shortcuts.

Architectural
Shingle Roofing
Architectural shingles are the most widely specified roofing system for Pacific Northwest homes, offering a strong balance of durability, aesthetics, and long-term value.
Covertrust installs premium shingle systems from CertainTeed, Owens Corning, Malarkey and GAF, selected specifically for performance in wet, high-humidity conditions. Every installation includes proper underlayment, ice-and-water shield at critical areas, drip edge, step flashing, counterflashing at all penetrations, and a ridge and ventilation system installed to the manufacturer’s full specifications.
Because we install to meet the manufacturer’s requirements using approved accessories, our clients may qualify for enhanced, non-prorated warranty coverage that most contractors cannot offer.

Metal
Roofing
For homeowners prioritising longevity and low long-term maintenance, metal is the premium choice. A properly installed metal roof performs for 40 to 70 years in the Pacific Northwest. It naturally sheds rain and moss, carries a Class A fire rating, and requires minimal upkeep over its lifespan.
Metal roofing is also well-suited to the region’s wind and rain loads, and reflective coating options can improve energy efficiency year-round. Covertrust advises on panel profiles, coatings and fastening systems based on your specific structure, pitch and budget — never a one-size-fits-all recommendation.
Roofing Systems
TPO Flat &
Low-Slope Roofing
Flat and low-slope roof sections — found on modern homes, additions, garages and covered decks — require a dedicated waterproofing approach. Shingles are not engineered for low-slope applications, and installing them in these areas is one of the most common causes of repeat leaks.
TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) is a true waterproofing membrane heat-welded into a continuous, seamless surface. There are no overlapping layers and no exposed seams — just a single monolithic barrier engineered to perform. Covertrust installs TPO systems using certified heat-welding equipment, with every seam tested for integrity before project completion.

Warranty Transparency
Clarity Over
Confusion.
At Covertrust Roofing Solutions, we believe homeowners deserve clarity, not confusion. Most roofing companies do not explain how warranties really work — and some even mislead homeowners.
Material Ratings vs. Warranty
When distributors reference 20-year, 30-year, 40-year, or 50-year shingles, these numbers describe the grade, thickness, durability, and expected lifespan — not the warranty. Many roofers blur the line between lifespan and warranty on purpose.
How long shingles may last under normal weather conditions.
A manufacturer’s promise to cover defects, not wear and tear.
How Warranties Actually Work
Most manufacturers cover defective materials for the first 10 years (non-prorated), covering both material and labor. After 10 years, warranties become prorated — dropping more than 2% per year. The longer you own the roof, the less the warranty is worth.
Some manufacturers offer extended non-prorated warranties (40–50 years) but only to contractors who meet strict installation standards, use full roofing systems, and maintain manufacturer certifications.
The Covertrust Advantage
Because Covertrust Roofing Solutions follows strict manufacturer requirements, our clients may qualify for enhanced, longer warranties that many contractors can’t offer. We install every roof to specification, use proper accessories, and ensure ventilation and flashing meet all standards. If a contractor cuts corners, the warranty becomes void — a fact many roofers never mention.
